How can i make a reflection like this...
It's not a normal reflection, it's a reflection at an angle but I can't seem to do it... i'm working in illustrator - please help!

Outline text, group objects.
Effect\ Distort & Transform\Free Distort.
Apply gradient.

That seems to have done the trick - and how do i just apply the gradient... sorry if that sounds like a shocking question - i'm used to using photoshop

Select object.
Open tool palette:
Window > GradientSet Type to Linear
Select Gradient tool:
Press GUse tool on object to change direction, etc.
If you want to change colours - set them in your swatch, then drag them onto your Gradient Slider in the Gradient Tools Palette.
If you want transparency..
