The shitty part is that no one ever goes to the Atlantic provinces for shows or events because there aren't as many people there, but how you can have lots of people moving there without the entertainment and appeal?

cheers for all the info people. I visited there last year and it's a great country, even if the town i was staying was identical to springfield. Drove through Paris which is a stunning little village. Toronto seems clean & safe compared to the area I live in now where people regularly shit on my doorstep. There's nothing like waking up to junkie poo in the morning!

Nope, never been there. Never said it was a bad place, just that I already have to deal with more than half of the events around the world never coming to Ottawa. I couldn't deal with less than that.

Moncton is the bees kness.. but you have to know people there...
the east coast is great, artisically speaking... kinda depressing economically, but I used to have a blast in Halifax, Moncton and Riverview...
I would much sooner go east than west, unless I wanted to follow the stream of failed Torontonians playing hackey sack and listening to reggae on the roof of a volkswagon van waiting to discover themselves or for someone to do it for them...

(Jul 12 07, 08:26)Say what you will, but compared to Vancouver, Toronto looks like it just came out of the shrink wrap. If driving across this country has shown me anything, it is that Vancouver is a filthy hobo-haven.
I'm actually moving to Toronto in a couple weeks, but it looks like I'll be able to stay on with my current employer and work remotely. Nice.
