I've been dealing with this problem for 6 hours now and I can't figure out what the hell I'm doing wrong.
Two divs, each 200px wide. One to the left (text) and one to the right (img). Ok?
Another div underneath that is 400 px wide. All text. But the top two divs' height can vary, so the text in the bottom 400px one floats differently.See here:
How do I FORCE the bottom 400px wide div containing text to ALWAYS start on a new row, despite what's above?

Five hundred million brazilian gazillion dollars to whoever gets this fixed pronto! I'm about to fly our developer back in from Seville on his second day of holiday.

I'm a bit fuggy headed from an all-nighter, but have you tried
Clear:Both
?

you've got to clear those floats!
I was literally just emailing a buddy with this problem 2 min. ago.

A few discussed solutions there, but I still prefer the "old fashioned way"

thanks a MILLION!!!

That was a little weird, though. It doesn't specify which div I should add the .clearfix to?
In my case; both top ones? Or the bottom one? Or separately?
