Soooo good NT people... My fiance and myseslf are looking for something to do for a little one night getaway in the DC area, and we're clueless as to where to go. The plan is to go out for dinner and from there, enjoy some good old fashioned (possibly wild) nightlife.
Any help would be much appreciated.

my 2 cents-
go to Lewes, Deleware (~2 hr drive). wonderful little town on the ocean and river that is a super-nice getaway. when there stay here:

http://www.hotelrodneydelaware.c…after you get there, go to the beach, etc and just chill. afterwards, eat here:
http://butteryrestaurant.com/ind…make reservations and enjoy every minute of it. easily one of the top 5 restaurants in the DC 'area' and get's zero press- way under the radar. been several times and once, drove from DC to there just for dinner and returned w/ the windows down, moonroof open, and nice trace cruisin' home.
good times have been had in Lewes.

Thanks for the suggestion Madirish... I think we may make that another date for another time. Soon. Tonight, I think we prefer to get fairly wild. It's been a long while since we've had an opportunity to just go out (we have 3 kids and my soon-to-be mother-in-law is taking the baby and the other two kids are out of town), so we want to take advantage tonight.

the only place I've been in DC in the last 15 years is BLT Steak--and that hardly qualifies as a wild time. They do have some nice cheeses, though
