What's up with you people at NT Broadcast. I mean I've been away from NT for a while, but you guys are just reposting your stuff.

For example Cahan and Associates, what's up with that?

You keep reposting their site and it doesn't have anything but the dude talking about his opinions and call us for portfolio? Awesome. So the dude made some unconventional annual reports, big deal. It's a job.

To me, what he thinks is completely irrelevant. Of course that everyone wants to be different, but that's where budgets and timeframes come in for clients. When I have a budget of 100k and up and 6 months to deliver a project of course that I'll have more people involved, more technical details in execution, more ideas and more time to develop etc. He didn't say anything that other people in design already don't know.

Just a guy, who owns a fairly successful company, that makes money from books he's selling and has in-house designers that come up with all designs as Adobe articles says. Groovy.

I don't really hate, I understand the admiration to success and design, I just don't see the need to hype things this much. I'm a bit sick and tired of people getting portrayed in off the hook manner, for the things that are completely obvious.

That video comes off as heavy-handed bullshit to me. There are plenty of other international offices like Meta, VSA etc. that offer just as much. Cahan is a boutique by comparison really.

The thing that confuses me is why they are filming him against a brick wall in a sailing vessel? I mean, that really must be a small vessel with all that motion going on in the camera work. And then a brick wall inside of it?! That cannot be safe! Can it?

Using a floating head on a video camera ala MTV(1999) is against the grain.

No way they are using that! are you talking about that face frontal stuff they used in that scare show?

the video on c&a seems like it is trying to immitate a mobile phone video camera.
