If anyone is interested, I have some great photos from the awesomeness that is the Gay Pride Parade in Chicago, which took place yesterday.

Such a fun day, drinking in the streets, one of my friends spanking several hundred people's asses, insane floats and more drag queens than you can shake a stick at. We're were boozin' from noon till 10:00 p.m. - I have no idea how I made it to work this morning. :D
That's me in the blue/red plaid shirt, my GF in the yellow "Let's get out of here" shirt, and the guy with Elvis glasses on is my friend Jamie, he also plays guitar in our band. Need to add captions but it takes so long to go through each photo.

I've got more on my GF's camera as well, and some incredible videos of spankings. No joke, this one girl:

In the middle of my drunken stupor, I called that a "tampon machine" and went on and on about how it involved "a single moveable part doing 'work' to insert another object into tube to prevent bloodflow. If that's not a machine I don't know what is."

Another priceless moment came way later into the night when we relocated to another street and came upon a band with a stand up bass, two banjos, a fiddle, and something else. Hung with them for two hours.
Jamie had people lined up waiting for spankings, and was just getting random people as well when this Mexican guy gets in his face and is like "You messed with the wrong guy bitch, I'm straight. What the f you hitting me for? I'm not gay m-fer"
Let me describe this guy to you as well:
1) Ridiculious pattern of engraving in his hair.
2) Huge fake diamond earrings
3) No shirt
4) Huge diamond stud belly button piercing
5) Tight white jeans unbuttoned to reveal even tighter D&G boxer briefs
6) Drinking a canned coke with a long curly straw

He was trying so hard to be tough, lots of "you're lucky I don't kick your ass."
Jamie just kept saying "I've been doing this all day, people love it, don't be the party pooper," and "I can do it harder if that didn't satisfy you."
I was keeping my distance, completely afraid they were going to fight.

why can they call themselves gay? isn't that derogatory? Similar tho the nigger/nigga controversy? The million man march, i always saw that effort as racist and separatist. I guess it's hard to judge with so many thousands attempting to convene without segregating another. Maybe that's why they march in these parades, because they are just fun.
