Links to some good, detailed writings on design processes, particularly interactve, would be much appreciated!
Thanks

Searching online, anything worthwhile seems to be few and far between.
It would be great to find a site where designers document the evolution of a real design project from research to sketches to final.
Not that any of this helps you...

check out bruce mau's site for some more philosophical insight into process.

yeah it would. I read that stop one a while back and it's interesting. I just like reading about what other designers think when they are on a project...where they start and where their process takes them...

Raise your hand if your process is:
Cigarette
Stare at Monitor
Take a poop
Stare at monitor
Open NT
Cigarette
Drink a Red Bull
Look at NT again
"Accidentally" browse to porn site
Stroke it
Bathroom Break
Open a design program
Cigarette
Finish artwork in an hour
Go to store, buy beer
Cigarette
Drink beer
Pass out watching Conan

if it matters, my latest trend has been to install & track stats on the existing sites before any work begins (as most of my work is redesign of existing content) this allows me to see the needs of the visitor and cater/streamline the delivery of that information.

hey mg33 the only difference in my process is - change red bull to go fast - and I pass out watching Poker After Dark.
