Recommendations? FF is good because of extensions but slow. Safari good but no extensions, crap rss reader and a few other lacking elements. Camino I don't like and flock is rubbish! Please tell me there's more!!

I'd try firefox with extensions disabled... my ff crashes a lot, mostly when viewing myspace profiles (mine included)

yeah it does crash a bit. At least it has a restore facility though, I don' tthink Safari does?

Try Safari 3
- Atkinson0
yeah I did, I like safari but I'm used to all the little extra bits in Firefox, there seems to be a bit missing in Safari even though the performance is better

Camino (if apple user).
rocks and renders 'better' than FF, IMO. doesn't have the dev. toolbar though, which sucks.

hmm, why is camino better than safari?

(Jun 17 07, 13:55)IMO, it is 'better' in that it uses the gecko engine, only not ported from the FF build, but built from scratch *in* Aqua, and upon the Cocoa toolkit, as opposed to porting from the default Mozilla toolkit.
this is totally an observation, but i find it to be every bit as standards strict, fast as hell, and all the cool features of FF (save dev. toolbar), but with the UI of an mac application and the same shortcuts, etc. again, my prefs, but it is quite lovely. oh, and it also renders javascript as FF does, and not in the paculliar way safari can.
good luck.
