    IMO, it is 'better' in that it uses the gecko engine, only not ported from the FF build, but built from scratch *in* Aqua, and upon the Cocoa toolkit, as opposed to porting from the default Mozilla toolkit.

    this is totally an observation, but i find it to be every bit as standards strict, fast as hell, and all the cool features of FF (save dev. toolbar), but with the UI of an mac application and the same shortcuts, etc. again, my prefs, but it is quite lovely. oh, and it also renders javascript as FF does, and not in the paculliar way safari can.
