you could look at this argument from another perspective:
It's obviously accepted now for photographers to make shitty html websites inhouse to show the work in their portfolios (as opposed to getting a web designer to do it.)
It's easy and cheap. But does anybody else think this looks crap? Or are you all of the view that this is 'edgy'?
