also, you can make the square box smaller on the contact page since there is a lot of unused space there...

Might look good. You can see the problem I ran into with the width and tryng to get resized posters to look good.
I could just center everything.
I prefer doing the titles in the page as opposed to as graphics. Just hate larger fonts.

i'd also say you can go to like 775
safely if you're really worried about 800*600 visitors but make your posters as wide as the line at least
