I hate to rain on the Microsoft parade, but yet again, they're 2 years behind the curve.
The combination of this technology and products like this was done by Philips and HP years ago (and others, I'm sure).
In the end, the only product that matters is the one that actually gets to market...

It's not like MS was the first one to come up with the concept. I worked on a group project in college that did something like this. The point is they are getting it out there.
Stop hating on MS because it's the popular things to do. They know what they are doing, which is more than I can say for most software companies.
