does anyone know what the program/plugin was that allowed you to separate liquid, smoke, hair and other beasts from busy backgrounds?
has PS incorporated anything like this that i don't know about? the program i'm thinking of probably came out 2-3 years ago.

nah.. this was more of a print/web specific image editor... not dealing with film or motion.
the site was really clean and white and i remember the examples where they extracted the background out of a glass of water and a stream from a running sink. the others of hair was a redhead with a really curly fro.

i don't think thats it.. it doesn't have the liquid/smoke/hair demos on tehre, but i'm going to try this out

they used to have a demo section showing them using it on glass and water....don't see it anymore

would it just do a silo of the area or would it allow you to remove what's in the background... like if you're pouring water in front of a checkerboard
- Sickman0
they can do semi-transparent objects like smoke, glass and water
- Sickman0
at least i'm pretty sure thats the one that i used for some glass shots i was doing

cool i will try it out. i don't think this is the specific one i was thinking of, but along the same lines. the other site was much much cleaner.

Mask Pro has been around forever.. use to be an Extensis product if I remember correct.
All the onOne stuff is quality.. the pro choice imo. Geunine Fractals is a top notch product.
