When I'm finished reading, but not finished with the book, I place the bookmark in the page that I last left off at. I leave it sticking out the top, slightly, to make it a little easier.

(May 25 07, 12:55)my irk with the Safari system is that a folder in the Bookmark Menu cannot be aliased into the Bookmark Bar.
so if i save bookmark as above, but then also want to access as a dropdown from the bar, its gotta be 2 managed sets.
or am i missing something?

that said one of my fav Safari bookmark tricks is to keep all your daily sites (NT etc) in a bookmark bar folder and check the auto-click option..
then 1 click every AM and all my daily sites open in tabs and RSS in a single feed.

I recommend http://yuxt.com for bookmarking videos.
Just add "yuxt.it/" in front of the url with embedded videos, then drag and drop into your categorized collection
