I got the white chocolate, but i am not that happy with it. I don't use it for music because I own an ipod, i don't use the camera, cause I own a digi camera. So as a phone it is okay, but not that good.
Verizon needs to step it up. I would get the q, but then you have to sign up for all the data and crap. Pricey.

yes verizon does offer a good phone...if you're looking for a phone that does the basics.
I have the LG VX8300. From a usability standpoint its great. Service and battery life are amazing as well.
And this dude has a cool blog on how to get it to do cool and fun stuff: http://vx8300.blogspot.com/

Been with Verizon for like 6 years now... their phones have always been middle of the road. I haven't renewed my contract with them for like 4 years; I have a buddy that works in telecommunications and has a contract with Verizon for corporate sales of their service and phones and crap, so he just gives me a free phone every year and I avoid that stupid "renew now and get a free phone" clause. I'm gonna see how this fuckin iPhone shit plays out over the next couple months and if it looks good, I'm gonna jump ship for a $600+ phone that will probably shatter into 50 pieces when I drop it the 2nd day I own it.

verizon sux
**begin rant**
I have them cus my wife and both our families are on it. When I was single I had Cingular and loved how they had the newest and greatest.
Thanks Verizon for being the last to get anything. Oh, and thx for branding EVER damn thing with your ugly logo.
(yes, i'm thinking of switching back this fall)

I love verizon... been with them forever and a day now. Rarely drop calls, I can get my email, I can take crappy pics if I want, but really, it's a phone. First and for most I want it to work A#1 as a phone. All my friends on Cingular and T-moble have issues with the network dropping calls n' shit. How embarrassing is that when you need to call a client back because the phone dropped.
But like point5 said, I'm waiting to see how this iphone thing works out.
