Cyberduck is free AND super easy to use.

I think that most FTP clients are pretty cheap anyway so take the plunge.
Fetch is pretty good, that what I use at the mo. I've also used Transmit on the trial version and it works fine too.
Can't really tell the difference between the two... Apart form the icons of course!

hey.. forklift update was 5 days ago, and I didn't know about it! That's because it checks for updates on launch, and it is the only app that's always running on my mac!
