InDesign CS2 Question (tools)

Does anyone know how to switch from the Text tool to any other tool using keyboard shortcuts?
If I am typing something and I wanna switch to the selection tool (V), I can't do it using the shortcuts.

not in indesign really. in illustrator you can just push 'esc' but in indesign, what i do is push apple, then click any object.

Thank you doesnotexist. That is what I've been doing. I just thought there was another way of doing it without the mouse. Thanks.

cmd+return will get you out of a type box. works in illustrator and photoshop as well.

Cmd+return takes me to "quick Apply". I still can't switch tools. :-(

CMD+SHFT+A = deselect. then press key for corresponding tool

I use the command key and get the group select arrow. From there i either select whatever i want or click out of the box.
