Just bought a new house in Austin, TX and I'm looking to fill it with original art.
I'm interested in local Austin art, but I'm also looking at online portfolios from all over the world. It's been hard finding good stuff through searching..
Anyone have anything?

buy some blank canvases and make your own!
much more of a talking point when people come to visit
:)

Yeah, it's just paint, so there's nothing to it.
Or, you could paint the walls direcctly. Or invite some kids over to tag your place.

Sorry I should have been more specific.. I'm looking for paintings..
And I do paint, I put a small bit of my own stuff up, but I really prefer to gain inspiration from outside sources.. I become bored with my own creations after a while..
Plus I'm way too critical of myself to put my own work up in my new house..
So if anyone has any online portfolios / examples of work I'd love to talk to you about buying some art..

Don't put your own work up around the house. Trade work with other artists or lend it to each other.

good idea what mimio said - trade art.
wonder if theres enough people on NT that do paintings to be able to arrange a big mass swap :)
