Real estate is good paying, and it ain't that bad.
I don't know any good shops anymore. Flemming used to be good. And Ion... but who else?

real estate is the lowest of the low

real estate is worse than gay porn
- r_mutt0
believe me, i've done both.

bull dust. They have good budgets, and it gives a designer a chance to really cross all disciplines. Print, environmental, web, interior, industrial...

don't even get me started on gay porn... some of it is the best work I've done!

Real estate for the most part is far too client controlled. In this market the developers realize they could pretty much do photocopied handouts and the place is still going to sell out in 4 months, and because of that budgets are getting smaller.

Well then I must be the lucky designer who's client actually listens to her.
It helps when you're wearing a short skirt and you've got your stiletto pressing ever so slightly on their windpipe.

Which developers do you work with Mel?
- MelC0
Cressey, Bogner and Intrawest.
- czawada0
Did you do the work for Fitzsimmons Walk?
- MelC0
I did Olive, Summit at Madison Square (seattle) and Mantra for Cressey.
I've had a great time working with them.
- czawada0
Cool, I've never worked with Cressey... I have had some good experiences with Intrawest in the past.

Come over to the dark side...
- czawada0
I'm already there unfortunately.

Hey! You work with Fleming! They do good stuff. Isn't one of the owners married to that jazz singer chick? Whassername?
