every place ive worked as one or two strange-as-hell people.
right now we've got a guy who is straight up Creed from the Office (US) with a little bit of John Locke thrown in. a quiet guy who is like this journeyman survivalist and when he does speak, its usually about things no one ever notices (like some important lining in the microwave has deteroriated). we've also got this chick who obsesses over making the coffee each morning -- if someone else does it, she pours it out (i've caught her doing it) and makes it herself. weird shit.

i used to work with a guy that participated in sword fights at renaissance fairs. full armor and everything. he also never wore deodorant. all in all he was a very nice guy.

got a guy here who is a certified jedi (from some online place) and he wears robes and sandals every day.
he's really easy to talk to though cause he's so calm but i did see him once do the jedi hand wave over his computer, it was walking by and he waves his hand across the computer almost like he was jedi mind fixing some code or something.
i did my best not to laugh but i couldn't help it.

I used to work with a guy that would try to rhyme whatever he would say with whatever i had just said. It was awkward at first but after a while it caught on and we got pretty good at it. One morning I got to work only to find him wearing the exact same thing I was wearing. He even had all of his laces out of his sneakers.

I used to work with this dude who was a Close Talker - I would dread working on projects with him, he would never get the fact that he was invading my personal space and laugh when I told him to back up. So one time, in front of everyone I said "If you insist on being so close to my face, at least have the courtisey to eat a mint every once in a while" and handed him a box of altoids while walking away. Everyone started laughing and needless to say - I didnt have to work on many projects with him after that.
