can you do a save-for-web on multiple layers all the at same time from same slice.
e.g. also save the hidden layers???

yeah, i am missing the point to this as well. SFW will save anyting you have in the file, that is visible. it can slice up, but i do not get what you want to hide, yet save in the file?

yah sorry man, you gotta save them out on each layers
unless you batch it
save a batch process and let the magic happen.
you gotta have a clean layers to do that though

currently doing it from photoshop atm, for a roll-over navigation menu 2 DW.
Il rec an action and shortcut it me thinks.

actually... you can probably create/edit a javascript automation (there's a learning curve to this)...
... I've seen some very powerful scripts for Photoshop as of late...
... do a google search for 'javascript photoshop' - there's tons of resources out there (i can't really help as I have yet to create a script for this... but I know it's doable!!)

U know what its like when u seem to be doing the same repeat process over and over, it drives you fuckin INSANE!!!!!!!!

another way to do it is all the states on the same layer/image and use css to reposition the image on the different states. you may have one larger file, but less code, no javascript required.

Oh yeah, well were on the subject of saving for web.
Iv done a dwt template, all styled in css and looks lovely ready to drop in all my body text.
BUT NO!!!!,, the dwt does not recognise any repeating tags, so all my margin styling for my type has gone out the window.
AH-HA (remove tags in template???? let my me just try something and il get back to you if that doesn't work.
Can you tell im slowing going insane :-) and talking to myself via NT,.
