Besides, OBBTKN your southern cousins do it every morning with their Irish Coffees, doesn't seem to do them any harm?

Good! It's definitely not a need. In fact there are quite a few morning I really don't feel like it...it tastes like shit after you brush your teeth. But I do it...theres just something to it, its intangible.
