500 Cards, black ink only, both sides. 350gsm, Colourplan Accent Antique from GM Smith.
= £475 excluding vat.
Am I being ripped off? Seems pretty expensive.

Not sure about the paper cost ( for something small like that you are better off trying to get samples or order small quantity from somewhere. The printer will pint them 10 up on 8.5x11, which is only 50 shts.)
But Here in the states the printing would be like $60...maybe £150

A pound a pop? that does sound expensive.

sorry...to clarify- so the high cost is prob cause the printer is ordering a case of paper...most small printers are not very sensitive to designer's paper needs. They only like printing on what they stock.

Well, I could of course get them printed here in the states, what with the exchange rate being so favourable, they need shipped to spain anyway, so it might work out cheaper even after the cost of that.
any recomendations for good printers in NYC?

that sounds totally expensive.
If you're going to the expense of getting them printed overseas, get them done in China and you'll save quite a bit of money, plus the quality is always really good whenever our clients use chinese printers.

haha, thats retarded expensive.. you could like die-cut AND foil stamp for cheaper. some moron is probably putting together your price without thinking customer service, they should be recommending a comparable stock that they can bring in without the premium expense.
ask for them to recommend some paper options.

so, fuck using them then.
recomendations for either nyc or london?
