My last car got stolen three times. And around here, if you call the cops about a stolen car, they're like "so what." You have to go to the station to file a report, they never come to you. The first time i found it myself, same deal, like three blocks away, the second time it was two towns away and somebody rammed it into some parked cars and the third time there wasn't much left of it.
Two words: pedal lock. Everything else is useless. Lojack will find your car, but not prevent it from being taken.

My uncle has been in a similar situation, Greedo. Eventually he just moved because his car would always get stolen and turn up again somewhere else.
