anyone have one of these with MT? Pros/Cons? How is it using Plesk? Is it easy to configure and learn how to use?

not sure about plesk or MT Dedicateds.
Do you know how to maintain a dedicated box?
There are plenty of other hosts, for dedicated, just find a good host that will put it in a good datacenter, you're looking at uptime, response time and customer service at that point

if you're looking for a dedicated box, i'd really suggest weighing your options as to what host to go with. these guys have a great rep in a great datacenter in Chicago on Cermak

if you do php stuff, plesk is pretty good for you
you can setup your clients an account and they can login and do stuff (that you let them do)...
i hate plesk, only cause it comes with it's own stable installs of all its software and i like to install new stuff or change stuff to non-standard settings...which isn't easy with plesk...
but yeah, i used one for a long time, till i just went with a stock linux install and built it myself

plesk has been a pain in the arse

damn this is not a MT bashing thread? I am surprised.

I've had the dedicated virtual account from (mt) for about three years. Speed and uptime have been good but I'm not a big fan of Plesk either.
