design vs photography

hey ya'll!
so i'm thinking of participating in the may 1 reboot.
right now i have two separate portfolios, one for design and other artwork, and my photography portfolio is completely separate.
i think i'd like to combine them, because i feel that my design training influences my photography.
but, i don't know how exactly how to integrate them. do you think it makes sense to just combine everything together? or should i divide my portflio into three categories: design, photography, and other art?
anyone here have input? do you deal with the same problem? do you feel that having a photography portfolio on your site improves or detracts from your design portfolio? any examples of portfolios you feel are well organized, integrating design and photography?
thanks guys!

if i was a designer by profession, i'd keep my stuff strictly seperate. a link would be more than enough for me.

bump!
surely someone here has some great suggestions.

when you are art directing your photos, that is part of design.

I would divide it into separate categories under one unified and consistent interface

i can't wrap my head around why anyone would be wanting to participate in that self-absorbed inter-referential isolated hipster event called May 1st Reboot.
But whatever..:)
