i was very disappointed with What If Civil War, the writing was crap...
they killed spider-man like it was nothing... wolverine origins is awesome but crap artwork.- Haven't read it yet.

I just came across a few I have from when I was a kid... didn't even look at the names etc... they're in a box.. untouched... never opened... nice and crisp.
I'll pull them out in a couple of weeks when I'm finally in my new place and share. :)
Side Note: My old boss is Steve Ditko... nephew of <a href="http://www.steveditko.com/" >Steve Ditko</a>.
He had original art from Superman #2 hanging on his wall... loads of Fantastic Four original art all over our office... I'm kind of mad at myself for not paying more attention to it. :(

I'm going on record as saying I absolutely abhor it, but saw it coming from a mile away much like the ending to most Marvel "big" stories ... they lead up very well but then ruin it. But they have to I guess. :X

Hopefully Bucky takes up the mantle and they do not do something weird like bringing him back to life (at least so soon).
Not sure if I like the new look or not, if it is Bucky then it works if it’s Steve ... not really. No shield? Black? Looks more like Batman than Cap.
Which is why I am hoping it is Bucky.
Give him some love Marvel!

i knew about the Memphisto ending for about a year now.
i also know what mary jane whispers to Memphisto and know what she will become in the amaazing canon going forward, infact it was shown in 1 panel on newsarama a few weeks back and i even posted the pic of it here to see if anyone was paying attention, but no one seems to have been... honestly i didnt like how the separation was handled but i am happy to see petey going forward as a single man over being a married spider-man.- Yea, but now his identity is back to being a secret? Well to those who didn't know before perhaps? I didn't like that.********

CGI MINI MOVIE
THE MARVEL ULTIMATES- That's brilliant, what was it made for? Two things though...Wolfboy
- 1. They should have used that Wolverine instead of Hugh Jackman in the films, that cartoon's a miles better actor...Wolfboy
- and 2. Seeing as it's the Marvel Ultimates, they should have used the Samuel L Jackson version of Fury. That is all.Wolfboy
- Actually this was made for the game Marvel: Ultimate Alliance I believe. I hope they turn this into something it was really well done.********

I don't have an image at the moment but the artwork in the New Avengers Illuminati one shot is amazing! It is in a sketchier style that is complimented by a very unique style of coloring. The color and some of the ink seems much more digital. Some of the ink looks like PS texture effects. The water in the underwater fight with Iron Man and Namor looks like it was scanned in vectorized and outlined in Illustrator. At the same time the rest of the colors almost look like they were done by hand using watercolors. I can normally tell how comics are done with the exception of this style.
