its not even a matter of "rip" anymore, because EVERY FUCKING WEB DESIGNER/S that claims to make "clean, web standards compliant designs" all look exactly the fucking same.
just because something follows all the holy "rules" doesnt mean all of your layouts need to look the damn same.

i don't complain when sites powered by moveable type (or any other precanned cms) seem similar. they probably wouldn't reach for a cms if they were trying to break design barriers or create something unique
