i keep smoking. we are all gonna die anyway. i will have no offspring so the timing of my death is not relevant.
and that is sort of comforting.

Wow. I've not smoked 67,000 odd cigarettes and saved about $10 grand since I quit. I'm glad there are a bunch of underpaid chinese workers picking up my slack. I love the global economy.

4 months smoke free if I don't count the Vegas bender from a few weeks ago where I slept 6 hours in 4 days and broke down and had 2 playing penny slots and getting proper.

I've never smoked 234,604 at a hypothetical 20 cigarettes per day saving myself $35,190.60 over 32 the 32 years since I've been born.
Unfortunately I spent all that money drinking Miller Lite bottles at Chilli's while wearing a wife beater on a Friday night.

(Apr 3 07, 13:28)You spent $35 grand one night at Chili's?? That's insane...

I'd quit, but it makes me look rough, tough and dangerous and I find it worth emphysema.
- Rand0
that will stunt your growth

people who "quit" smoking cigs like to put a shelf life on their end date. they usually estimate all their spendings and tally the total. they usually count the days passed from when they "quit".
unfortunately, people that "quit" smoking usually go back as they keep the version in their minds of them smoking and cantwait til they start again.
Quiters fail. dont be a quiter, just "stop" smoking, stop counting the days, weeks, months minutes, amounts of cash saved or spent, stop thinking about it, dont put a shel date of the time stopped [til the time your start again??]
stop smoking like you never did, like you never ever smoked before.
just stop like right now!

(Apr 3 07, 13:31)Yeah. They were pretty big bottles and the waitress gave me some sob story about not having the money to go to college, so I tipped her 15k.

its a sad but true fact, i STILL crave cigarettes and it's been so long since I had one. i wonder if that craving ever goes away?
- e-pill0
