At primary school they taught us to be resourceful and driven to learn things on our own. I hear that is something else that is lacking these days.

Crouwel, you're right that people should know the basics of image files, and, from experience, I can tell you that teachers have been shit in making those distinctions. They don't think it's important at all...maybe they're right though. No one takes design courses in high school...many don't even take science anymore.

and even if i don't know i'll look it up. just as people could at least ask me when i say vector objects or look it up themselves instead of flooding my fucking mailbox with jpeg logos while (and so it turns out) they actually DO have all the logo's in a proper format.

everyone has a logo these days. from a fucking school, to a lawayer, to an embroydery (how the fuck do you spell that anyway?) club, to a mime artist to whatever.
and at least they should know what sort of logo's you can PRINT.
