Hey guys,
please tell me your overall opinion about the logo, and what font in your opinion works better : http://arseni.com/clients/arseniā¦(plus any other suggestions)
Thanks!

I think it gets the job done. Nothing Great but not bad.
I like 3

same,
on one hand it's really nice to hear positive things from you, on the other now i think whether it's good enough :)thanks mate.

the first 2, specially the 2nd one, look like a mix of Armani with Gucci.
In the 4th one "AG" is overpowering the type.I'd go with the 3rd one too.

Vector,
that's because i used Bodoni, which is used by Armani :)My friend (also designer) told me he liked it, so i decided to include that :) I'm also not sure it's good to have this reference :)

(Mar 31 07, 22:06)Ya I know master of type. That's why I see Armani there. that "AR" combo in bodoni simply make that choice not work.
Stick to #3 :p

seeing your website i presume the logo is needed for your graphic design company.
the logo's now look like they're for a big glossy company in the fashion business, especially nr 2.
the typography of nr 4 looks like a sort of Myriad, way to weak for a logo imo.
hm. the best part is the AG ligature. why not sketch a little more with that and search a good typeface that fits with it and then properly kern it?

Stewart, thanks!
Searching for a good typeface is what im trying to do :)

what is the style you're looking for?
now it's a strange mixture between 'creative' (the AG) and 'business' (also because the word 'group'. do you really need that? what's the reason you need the word 'group' in your company name?).
- arseni0
Stewart, basically because i need to move on from being just a freelancer to something a bit more... and i still want to keep arseni.com as my personal playground, etc... This is one of the main reasons, there are others.
The style... uhmm... you know, something that works for a design firm :) You probably know how it is doing stuff for yourself.

don't pretend to look like a "1million turnover" company if you are not one.
if you work alone or with a few other people i think you better look more creative & sympathetic instead of quick & smooth.
unless you're really a branding/strategy/marketing guy of course.

be very carefull when selling the term ' group'. clients will expect that u provide a structure as a firm wich u can't actually provide as a freelancer.

1, if not, then 2

i get a hint of swastika

angle of the AG should be the same as the left slant on the capital A...
So they run in parallel ,
Have you tried containing the AG inside a box like your avatar??? i think that would look good...

it looks like the logomark falls over right on the name. as if it is gonna be smashed any moment.
this unbalance was the first thing that struck me..
