(Mar 29 07, 02:29)I was about to write the copy on the first one makes you want to punch you in the face. But I thought I should check a select few posts to find out if someone had said it already.
I clicked this one first.

cacoe:
Most of the final layouts were done in ID. Sometimes I'll start off by pushing some ideas around in illy and then move into ID for anything final.

Completly noob-esque question:
What app are you using?
Some people would go with inDesign for this, others with Illustrator. How about you?
Thanksies.

I like 4, but with the back detail of 2. Sorry but no 1 is faaaaar too busy for me!

Thanks for all the constructive crit.
The copy on #1 really isn't serious, more so place holder for the time being. If I really got that printed I would hope all of you would join Dancer in punching me in the face.
I'll definitely bump up the pt size of the envelope and take a look at the left margin of the letter head on #4.
Again thanks for taking the time to give me your opinions, really appreciate it.

1: Simply more fun to read, has personality.

version 1 has the strongest combination/use of typography. Having strong typography is, in my opinion, really important on a resume – as it is, simply, type.
The language needs a lot of work. "neato" and "sweet" are not only silly, but why use adjectives to describe your own work? A bit like patting yourself on the back – let your work speak to your talent.
Also, I do favor the use of your name, large, on the resume – however, you likely don't need your name 3 or 4 times on the resume.
get a return address on that envelope. point size is debatable, the US postal service will put up with a lot – but if its going out of the country – don't fuck around as only you will lose out.
My final piece of advice is to DROP the personal logo. I don't understand these personal logos – and honestly, its not that strong. Most of these end up being sad excuses for logos that aren't even necessary.

Four / quatre / vier /τέσσε... / quattro / cuatro ....etc

#4 without doubt.
although nix the blue on the CV, shouldn't be any color on it (imo).

also - think about when your letterhead gets hole punched. leave yourself some left hand side.

4 for sure. nice one.
