you made a blanket statement and i don't understand the terms in that context and i don't have auden's memoirs here to reference so i was asking for a little more detail
pretty simple really

and lol at you thinking you're some kind of nt rule maker

well, authenticity is definitly something else than originality.
look at craftsmen.
traditionalism in craft = authenticity
idea/concept = originality

rest in peace baby

we all gather inspiration from somewhere, we contextually reference things from today and things from the past in order to strike a chord, so to think that you're breaking new ground is relatively futile.. It's all about knowing and understanding what you're referencing, why you're referencing it and then making it your own, that's what makes something authentic...

i am not sure if that makes it authentic, unless few or only one reference are used and implemented in a way that respects (read: is subject to thorough research or knowledge of given reference) the authenticity that people associate with said reference.

i mean look at all the grafitti sampling you see in every goddamn mainstream campaign nowadays, for example..

i agree with auden completely .. so long as the referenced idea/artwork is changed in some way. and obviously it would be .. to suit the new situation. i.e. warhol's soup cans

But back to the thread... its a rip... simple as that... which devalues the superfamous site...
if you've been to the attack one first and then came to this one, the impact would not be the same

it's all one big slagheap of shit that amounts to nothing

The superfamous one looks more professional. I like that it doesn't resize your browser too. Attack could've changed a few more little details at least.
