(Mar 27 07, 07:02)nah man, just work on it.

mos def round everthing out, it would feel much nicer without the hard edges.

OSFA - cheers fella. First day of working on it, will stick with it :)

When you say round it out, are we talking about the flat edges I have on the top of b, l and d?

I will keep you posted, thanks.

did I mention that I part own the company.... nightmare, knew we should have got someone in to do it :)
oooh... knowing this, I'd say take a breath and do a brief, really :)
otherwise everything will turn into "I want that to be sooo cool" and that way every thing you can do can work -or not-.
It's like doing your own portfolio : if don't think about what you want to show, what the whole thing is supposed to mean etc... you're just about doing tons of layouts....

Conceptually its ok. Just needs some refinement. I would only use the circle in the 'e' to differentiate it from the other letters.

(Mar 27 07, 07:08)that's what i was referring to
as far as the size of the dot, just shrink it to the same width as the strokes.
the e is showing a problem though as the curvature seems out of whack
- lw-d0
good point dyspl. My initial thought was to keep it clean, simple and coherent (is that the right word, probably not :)
The changes people have suggested here are really helping it along though...
- lw-d0
thanks for the feedback, version5, the e was difficult for me to do, thought I had it nailed, could you let me know where you see the problem.
Thanks

make it out of ribbons, take a clear snapshot, scan, refine in Illy.
Or make a suite of logotypes created from continuous materials: rope, string, licorice, metal chain, whatever

when i think blend i think of fluidity and movement.
the logo you've got is segmented and a little too rigid, despite the curves. i'd start over.

i see where you were going with the sketch and i think the concept it pretty good (with the sketch). it was lost in translation though.
as for the inital logos posted i prefer the ones with the 3 boobies as opposed to the one with the single boobie.

v5 - nice clean up of his original concept. that looks like the way to go.

(Mar 27 07, 11:55)you're right orville, we should just stay on the ground

(Mar 27 07, 11:55)i'd separate the b and l and just go ahead and change the company name to bellend

"I'm with the bland"
