They don't give away cats to indoors only places unless they have been indoors only for five years, which is fair enough I wouldn't want to deplive the furry scamps of certain experiences.
However there was this one wee fella one year shy of being five years indoors and he was frightened it said on his tab and he needed loads of hugs and reasurrance and he was miawing all the time it broke my fragile girlish heart.

i grew up with two cats.
not literally - i DID have real parents.but yeah i got 1 of the cats when i was one year old. she died when i was 22. thats pretty good innings for a cat likes!!
i'd like to get a cat but dont think im allowed one in my rented pad.
i'll definitely get one when i buy a place of my own.cats are excellent company, especially when you are ill - they know it and will give you some love. and the good thing is that you dont have to walk the buggers like you do with dogs.
chossy, a must-buy is a laserpen or a finebeam torch.
you just sit veged on your sofa swirling the beam all over the floor and watching the cat chase it around.
(you'll even be pretty surprised how far a cat can jump up a wall if it needs to lol).

aye and take heed of what folks have said about a cats history, if theyve been really badly mistreated in the past then they might not exactly be a barrell of laughs.

I would never date anyone with a lot of animals, to be honest. It depends on what animal too.
I used to be more allergic to animals but I'm getting better now since I've stayed at houses with animals. Still, it's always better without even the smallest form of allergy.

Now. if you get a cat, then I would definitely consider 2 kittens so that they have playmates and grow up together. (nothing more fun than seeing two pussies go at it!).

and now JengaI had many other options for Jenga, but I liked Jenga a lot... here are some for you... Nerf, Rubiks, Frisbee, Twister, (you get the idea).
Sad when you lose them though... I lost my all-time favorite pet, sLiNky Jr., just before Christmas and he was only 9 years old. (I think it might have been caused by the IAMs food poisoning!)
Which brings me to my next point... STAY AWAY from IAMS and any other food made by them!
