anyone ever watch this show on bravo? it gets me thinking. ok, so...the blonde chick who owns it is rich as hell, living the high life...and it seems everyone on her staff (prob about 8 or so) is living pretty well off too.
im tryin gto figure out how a small small fitness studio like that can bring in enough money. it's realy small, and id estimate their clientelle is like 30 people..
even IF they unimaginably charged 30 people 10 grand a year to be members at this place, they'd only rake in 300k a year... which is what id imagine the owner makes a year ALONE, based on the size of her house and where its located.
how the hell can they be pulling in more money than that when theyre a smaller exclusive place.

this isnt just about the tv show, it can be applied to any small exclusive personal training facility.

Maybe... there are like, 100 of them.
10k x 30 = $300,000
$300,000 x 100 = $30mDude, who cares?!

My wife and I crunched some numbers a while ago because we were/are interested in starting our own personal training studio.
If we hired 5 good trainers we could pay them 30-35 an hour. We'd charge 80-90 per hour for training.
Either way we would get at least $50 per hour per client they train. If each of the 5 trainers trained 5 people per day (which is actually a bit low, but for numbers sake)
5 trainers, training 5 people per day at $80 a session = $1250 per day. x that by 365 days and that = $456,250 per year.
Currently my wife trains 9 people per day, as do most of the 5 trainers we were inquiring about to join our club.
The money is there.
Not sure where the video class takes place, but out west in Cali I know they can get over $100 per session depending on where they are at. Big money.

Doug I’m probably getting certified in Pilates if you need a Pilates Instructor.
Are people still keeping up with:
(Actually, I just linked it so I can click it after I post, haha.)

Very cool flavorful. Pilates is pretty big here right now.
My wife is certified in it too and trains two classes a week. Which are always booked solid.
I've added some things to the site in the past 2 weeks but I think most NTers have abandoned the site. :(
April 1 I post my after pictures and hopefully new exercises and workouts are coming soon.

Yea, kOna, I’ve been doing Pilates for about 3+ years and I swear by it.
It’s like working out for people with ADD.
Though looking at the workout regimen on TheFitClub, that looks like it would change things up quite regularly.
On top of looking like it’s absolutely fucking impossible, hahaha.
