My wife and I crunched some numbers a while ago because we were/are interested in starting our own personal training studio.
If we hired 5 good trainers we could pay them 30-35 an hour. We'd charge 80-90 per hour for training.
Either way we would get at least $50 per hour per client they train. If each of the 5 trainers trained 5 people per day (which is actually a bit low, but for numbers sake)
5 trainers, training 5 people per day at $80 a session = $1250 per day. x that by 365 days and that = $456,250 per year.
Currently my wife trains 9 people per day, as do most of the 5 trainers we were inquiring about to join our club.
The money is there.
Not sure where the video class takes place, but out west in Cali I know they can get over $100 per session depending on where they are at. Big money.
