fuuuuuck...

CV's that get the biggest response are the ones which have simple clean typography. No gimicks, no word templates, just keep it simple.

What gets my attention is a simple email with a link to their site or a pdf showcasing some of their best work. This should include a CV stating the obvious:
- date of birth
- address
- qualifications
- work history
- software experience etcI once read a CV which was about four pages long and the girl was stating how she loves going for walks and listening to birds singing. POINTLESS!!!
An employer doesn't need to know stuff like that.

Thats odd!, you french or somthing?

honestly i am still debating the value of a cv in comparison to a good ol' resume...
one page, clean type, useful info: that's what's important, right?

i was going through a heavy metal phase.. and had ginormously long hair.. and when they asked me if i was willing to tie it back.. i said "i might look like a tranny but ok".. and apparently there WAS a transexual employed.. and the interviewer asked me to leave
