I may be getting an office on a hydro-electric dam that my chief has just bought, cool as fuck and twice as real.
no idea about wind powered hosts though I'm afraid.

you are asking for a web hostg that has their own power supply off the grid? while i would move *all* my clients to them if they exist, good luck finding one. seriously.
the cost to do this would only be met by them being a web host if they also were future's traders on the oil martet.
now, someone who purchases all their power from a renewable energy source utility company is more likely..... albeit a bit to find unless they market their services a such.
please though- let us know what you find.

aye madirish, srsly.
I've not seen it yet but it is the powerhouse of the dam, ie. where the turbines are housed... cool as fuck setting by all accounts, also may get the house nearby to live in :D

I got made redundant by Macromedia a year after the Adobe join when they moved their techsupport away from Edinburgh.
Wanted to freelance mostly and chill on my redundancy money for a while.. saw a job advertised "looking after a website" applied and walked it basically. The guy who runs the company is a property developer and entrepreneur, within 7 weeks I was "IT & web manager" with another 2 from Macromedia working in my team... now there are 4 of us all in, developing inhouse reservationSystems, doing SEO, supporting staff, no design to speak of at present, but just hired a designer so mebbe even have something to show soon :p

Last week I changed the electric buying at my Mother's house across town to all renewable sources.
I can't do it at my place, I have an apartment.
It costs a bit more but I got to walk the walk.
