I'd really like to contribute to this, but then at the end of the day, what rand says is true - you'll never learn from advice on here or from anyone else, you just go through your life experiencing things and it sorts itself out to a greater or lesser extent. that's what makes us all different people.

i am not sure what the lesson to learn here is. perhaps i can try being more of a cunt so that the next time it happens at least i know what i did so wrong. sure, sometime from now i will differently and things will get better. but do things have to be bloody brutal? oh well.
