salisae, i hope you know that your mother is acting out of grief and frustration and will no doubt regret having said that to you. it's a myth of a certain type of person from that generation (i know, my mom is one too) that the psychosomatic source of illness is the *only* source of illness. it's bullshit and please ensure that you know that it is, even deep down inside, and that you emphatically do *not* allow her to lay any blame at your doorstep.
