flash sticky effect question???

  Afternoon!

  I am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction to finding a solution this request.

  How can I stop a custom cursor from being dragged by the mouse - for only one or two seconds - if it comes into contact with a movie clip on the stage?

  So if the users mouse rolls over one the movieclips the custom cursor is frozen for a second or so and then goes back to being a replacment cursor.

  Does that make sense? I hope so!

  Any pointers welcome :)
