Clients pay you what you ask for.
Point finale.
- UndoUndo0
you are worth what the client will pay
- Visia0
lol, dude, with that mentality you're going to be stuck in the lower-half of the middle class your entire life. Have fun.

its really easy to rile you up when youre so defensive about getting your money.
but for real, go be a sys admin, work even less, and get paid 3x.

(Mar 9 07, 11:24)i can say for a fact that clients are willing to pay undo quite a lot of money.
- Visia0
well, good then but that's a backwards mentality. To say "I'm only worth what people are willing to pay me" is selling yourself short.
Plus, that depends on what you mean by "a lot of money".
- UndoUndo0
haha
i think you misunderstood my port. what i mean is I set the price and the price can go as high as I want it to - as long as some one is willing to pay.
my clients (and your neither) should set the price
- UndoUndo0
right that should read
haha

my clients (and your neither) should not set the price

are you drunk undo?
- UndoUndo0
no im still at f@cking work! and very tired :(
- UndoUndo0
to try to clarify my point - some models can earn tens of thousands of pounds in a day - not because what they do is difficult but because someone is willing to pay for their services. I dont think you should set your price depending on what others think but instead it should be what you can get out of it!.

fair enough point.
the work I do during the day costs £20,000 and upwards a site because it's the film industry paying for it. but I also do work for friends, to the same standard, for as little as a grand a go sometimes.
They don't have £20,000 to spend, doesn't mean I won't produce work for them.

- OSFA0
i remember, are u enjotin it? how bout spicing those flickr imgs with some washing action pics? u know like on the commercials or even better like the auto shows?
just a thought
- Visia0
ah, Undo, I couldn't agree more.
Unfortunately with the good cake comes this: "no im still at f@cking work! and very tired :( "
But, yeah, we're on the same level. You should determine your rate and if someone will pay it then to hell with the industry "standards".
- OSFA0
i thought the only standard in this industry was to dress edgy...
?
