Anyone else pick up Borat this week?
I LOVE the menus, the gritty sound, gritty look, it's like watching an old filmstrip!
The deleted scenes...
The extended version of the dairy section "What is uh this?" is hilarious, but nothing beats the "massagings" segment. Have you seen it?

I haven't seen the DVD extras. Have you seen all of the episodes of the Ali-G Show aired on HBO (US) and Channel 4 (UK)? Tons more hilarious Borat footage there...

Oh, yah, the DVD itself - looks like a burned dvd with the lines on the bottom and just says "Borat" with a backwards R and looks like it was written with a sharpee.

that movie was hillarious, like the whole audience was literary CRYING. I need to watch it again because the laughter in the theater makes it hard to listen to what people were saying.On the other hand, I watched the sarah silverman show last night, (leuchemia kid) and I was craking up, I admit my initial expectations were low, but it was pretty funny.

I watch Sarah Silverman, but I think both her and Cohen's standup is much better compared to her show / his film.
Honestly, I know lots of people who also thought the film would be more hilarious but it was just satisfactory. It's not a film I would watch over and over again, let's just say.

i was at blockbuster the other night and i was waiting to get served because the lady behind the counter was on the phone with a customer and i heard he say " no no no its suppose to look like that" . i guess she phoned saying she got a burnt copy and she didnt wanna get in shit when she brought it back thinking she put in the burnt copy. The lady said that she was getting calls like that all day.

The Academy asked Cohen to present an award at the Oscars but he refused unless he was allowed to be in character, which, of course, they wouldn't allow. But he was nominated, so there were various jokes about him made by Ellen and shots of him in the audience with his fiancé.
