Hey, can anyone recommend a good place to buy licenced scans of antique maps?
Something like this:

Unless you're after something specific (or in a rush), I'd consider going down to Stables Market in Camden or Portobello this weekend and buying some antique maps and scanning them yourself.
There're loads available, and often quite cheaply. If they truly are old, then they're beyond copyright too.

oh, and FYI, scans of old maps might be copyrighted... you have to check the license.
just to clarify: that's scans by a third party, not you. If you've scanned something that's out of copyright, you become the defacto copyright holder of that scan data. So somebody else can't come along and sell it without your consent.
