'Title of Record' has not left my car, computer, or ipod for the past 2 weeks. I can't believe I ever stopped listening to it...
- e-pill0

The best things in life are for €2 which I paid for the cd at oxfam.
Is Richard Patrick a scientologist too? :)

Nice Jevad.
I recently re-found Silverchair Frogstomp.
Forgot how good that was.

I really liked the "nice shot man" cd but after that ballad they did they kind of sucked bawls.
I guess he has a new band called Army of Anyone with some dudes that were in STP.
I heard one song and it sounds pretty much like youd expect. If you like those two bands it might be worth checking out.
They're on a small club tour now called SNO-CORE. It might be cool to catch em in a samll venue since both bands are used to playing much bigger venues.

I rediscovered the Melvins "Stoner Witch" and "Houdini" last week. Getting some heavy rotation. Also getting back into Bad Religion, "Suffer", "No Control" and "Against the Grain" specifically. "Fuck Armageddon, this is Hell" is classic too.
Goddamn, it's like visiting old friends after years apart.

Hey Fooler!
I fucking LOVE that AOA album - and saw them live here in Denver last weekend. To say it was one of my Top 5 all-time shows would be an understatement - it was quite simply a mind blowing display of musical genius. That AOA album was what made me listen to FILTER again...Richard Patrick is awesome....

this and Finch's What It Is To Burn got me through college. Pivotal music I agree.

Quicksand and Helmet were pivotal, although mostly forgotten now...

wasnt patrick doing a project with Reznor about 3 years ago? I can't remember if it was him or Lohner.

never heard of Quicksand before. Helmet, an enigma worthy of several listens.
melvins i'll have a revisit tomorrow! perhaps with biafra too
anyone pick up the new Clutch. A little faster and bluesy than their others of late. A good listen.

I highly suggest picking up Quicksand, slip and manic compression.
new Clutch rocks and the Melvins with Lustmord is incredible.
