I remember seeing a video where they show you all the cars features-like how they get it to go that fast.
different settings, how they work and what they do.cant remember if it was top gear.

they showed that car on top gear doing 252mph - amazing.
the first 250 HP takes you to 100 mph and the remaining 751HP gets you from 100-252mph!!

(Feb 26 07, 01:40)Inspiring? An 80s Carrera is miles ahead in terms of inspirational driving. I haven't driven the Veyron myself yet, but I have been a passenger. Massive understeer and wrong 4wd distribution makes it dull in a "wow, I took that corner in 180 mph and I didn't even notice"-sort of way.
It's funny how everybody seems to think speed is everything.

Every review on that car has been outstanding. (I have read a few) so I tend to believe those who have driven it...

It gets good reviews because it's reviewed as a GT cruiser. That wasn't the intention of the car - it was supposed to be a super car, competing with the Enzo, the McLaren F1 and the Maserati MC12. But it doesn't.
Ask me again next month. I might change my mind when I drive one.
