anytime you see a portfolio link to a screenshot instead a url, you know the client's been getting their money's worth out of the CMS.

Half the time it's a screenshot of the design in the pitch, before the logo is bigger, and you have added the pack shot and the quotes and the reviews and the link to the game and tried it in blue and used a montage of shots because we are trying to get away from the military scheme and added the dvd release date and etc etc et fucking cetra.
Clients fuck up everything I make.

I see... well, looks like a lot of us do have embarrassing projects happening every now and then...
What do you do about it? How does it make you feel? Do you say something like "Next time i'll try to make it better" type of thing to yourself?

in reference to a triangle mark with 14 characters of unreadable text beneath it they like to refer to as their logo.
this was from him yesterday written to someone else:

I think we all have those buried somewhere deep in and old file. Those projects exists cause we either f***d up or we were used as pixel monkeys by a client turned art director for the day, but as long as they pay it's all good even though it may make us feel like cheap whores... or does it?

I work for a medical company and we sometimes do animations for pelvic area repair procedures, male and female. I won't have those in my portfolio.

I also have a client i do some before/afters of plastic surgeries, etc... But i'm not really embarrassed of that... that's done purely for $.What i'm more embarassed of are projects where there was a possibility to make something, and it never happened.
