perceiving that stilistic repetition is part of a body of Work is the only truthful idea Lynch has in his brilliant hollow mind.

yeah, he tries not to have special features on DVDs because he thinks it gives too much away.

Lynch is like Picasso. Unapologetically staring pure dread right in the face, reconciling with it, and harmonizing with it. All of his films are like a negotiation just to get to this same place with a story.
Pretty great in my book.

Very interesting interview with him in this months' MovieMaker. He has started to open up and talk about his work a little more, without "harming the magic" of the piece as he likes to put it.

I am a huge fan of The Straight Story.

The Elephant Man is the greatest film ever made, in my opinion.

I think Mulholland Drive is one of my favourite films because of the great acting (sometimes incredible acting exhibited by Watts) and its dream-like nature, which makes you think about the film forever after you finish watching it. Many of Lynch's films are like that.

I don't think David Lynch is good at anything except pretending to be a visionary. His work is definitely unique, I just don't think it has any value what so ever.

I love his movies, but I see where you're coming from. Sometimes you need different actors to get a different, and maybe even better, vibe from the film.

yeah, it jsut seems like you are watching the same movie over and over again sometimes with him.
Don't get me wrong, I am a fan. Just sometime it seems stale.

It's okay if they're good actors.
Naomi Watts is the talking rabbit, lol.

i can't stand how he uses the same people in his films.

I missed it here this past weekend in Minnesota but will see it in a couple of weeks in Iowa! It combines some of his smaller projects and looks muy interesante!
