Got a big problem here rendering on a intel imac, 2 gigs of ram..
Never had problems rendering before, but that was on a PC. Looks like I'm running out of ram or something, half way through render... program crashes.. anyway round it? no expert on the settings of ae..
Anyone?
Cheers

hej bullit,
with what effects?
effects applied on 3D space?
- Bullitt0
Yo,
720x480,using 3D space on 2 movie clips. with camara movement.
and these effects ( some on the clips ) trapcode particular, Glow, CC burn film, CC light sweep, CC Light burstThese effects dont kick in till past 50% of the render though, and the render is stopping on somthing like 25%
Camara on the movie clips is from the start though. Could be this?
Should I use openGL render?
would segments work ?
Cheers

Lower your RAM usage down a lot like... 35-40% or so. I suggest grabbing some more RAM too. If it still crashes delete your AE preferences and try again.
Feel free to hit me up on iChat: IAMANATOME

Do you get any error messages or does it just lock up?
I posted a possible fix in your other thread, at least I think that was your thread. I don't want to type it all again as i'm in a bit of a crunch, but access your secret menu in prefs and check clear the cache every 10 frames, should help.
